That would have been great, if in the meantime, during the same day, Dell hadn’t withdrawn the new version 1.15.2, without any explanation. On 2 Dell posted Article Number 000194762 explaining the issue and recommending to update to the newly released BIOS.

Having gone through all that the previous days, I decided to wait a few days, before updating.what a wise move, this turned to be! I think I'm getting wiser as I grow older, after all!!! On 1 Dell posted an updated BIOS, version 1.15.2. Next day, I spent the entire morning troubleshooting with the Dell Support, to finally get the verdict that I should downgrade the BIOS to version 1.13.0, which I did and resolved the issue. After several times and different presses to the start button it turned on, with the message 'Time-of-day not set'. HUGE MISTAKE: The laptop refused to turn on. On 1, after a WiFi driver update, I shut down instead of rebooting.

It turns out, I hadn’t noticed any problem because I hadn’t shut-down the laptop. Since I hadn’t noticed any problem, I decided to keep it. The 1.14.3 version was withdrawn after 3 days from the Dell Support site. On 1, I updated the BIOS of my Dell Precision 3560 to version 1.14.3.
